"When it became necessary for me to move my aunt from her home into a place where she would get supervised care, we chose Alden Terrace of McHenry. While this type of decision can sometimes be very traumatic, the staff at Alden Terrace did everything they could to help us make a smooth transition. They treated my aunt with dignity and respect and they helped me to ensure that all of her needs were being met. Despite the fact that my aunt's physical and mental health were failing, the facility helped her address these issues and provided her with a good quality of life during her final months. Alden Terrace is a wonderful place with staff who are devoted to the residents. Our family was so grateful for the help, care and support we received."
